Volkswagen’s New Crossover CROZZ
Just as the name suggests, Volkswagen is up to something new and trendy that will move millions of buyers. This time we are driving electric. Watch out!
The crossover model by Volkswagen is a new electric car called ‘I.D Crozz.’ This brand concept was presented at the Auto Shanghai 2017. This is the latest model for the company, which they refer to as, ‘array of avant-garde electric motors.’ They include a I.D. Buzz microbus, which was introduced in the beginning of this year, and I.D Compact Concept, which was introduced last year. If you are still having trouble with the names, here you go: the word ‘crozz’ has been coined from ‘crossover,’ and ‘buzz’ from ‘bus.’ These vehicles appear much more stylish than the old Volkswagen replica.
The concept of I.D Crozz is quite peculiar. It is meant to use the amplified reality to guide the driver with information. Furthermore, it will incorporate signal power to pilot the interface. It also has self-governing know-how. When the VW logo on the steering wheel is tapped, the crozz will gear up to a manner of self-driving. Who could ever imagine all that? As if that is not enough, it has a broader base with gigantic wheels. The wide base accommodates the battery pack.
VW says that the SUV will reach a high speed of approximately 180 kpm. The Crozz’s battery will be easily recharged to 80% power on a 150 kW charger within 30 minutes. Additionally, Volkswagen aims toward launching 30 varying electric motors by 2025. New models like the Crozz clearly show that VW is headed in the right direction. For now, just open your eyes, watch, and wait.
